Read the first part of the fable and click the verbs in it.

Androcles was a slave who once escaped from his master and fled into the forest. Soon he came upon a Lion lying down moaning and groaning. As the Lion did not pursue him, which is what Androcles had thought at first, he went up to him. The Lion put out his paw, which was all swollen and bleeding, and Androcles found that a huge thorn was stuck there. He pulled out the thorn and bound up the paw of the Lion, who rose and gratefully licked the hand of Androcles like a dog, for he had healed him.

Read the second part of the fable and put it in the right order.

Androcles and the Lion were captured.
They starved the Lion to eat Androcles.
They led Androcles out into the middle of the arena.
