It is time for poetry. You will write an acrostic poem. Into your notebook, write a short motto that you try to follow in your life. Write it vertically on the page. The number of words of your motto will be the number of stanzas and the number of letters in your motto will be the number of lines. The poem doesn’t have to rhyme.
Work in groups. Here is a list of negative situations. Try to be positive and find something good in every situation or give a possible solution. Do this activity orally.
It’s time to do something silly. Write a “Fortunately, Unfortunately” Story. In your story, good and bad things have to alternate. Each sentence must start with either “fortunately” or “unfortunately,” always alternating. Make your story dynamic and fun. Use 50 to 70 words. Show it to the teacher.
If you don’t know how to start, here are some ideas:
1. My mobile phone was stolen.
2. My girlfriend left me yesterday.
3. I was invited to a birthday party last weekend.
4. My uncle got married last Saturday.
5. I had a toothache this morning
